Dr. Miller is truly a miracle worker! I had a lesion (3 ½” x 4″) on the medial side of my right ankle. It was thought to have been caused by a fiddle back spider bite. At any rate, it was a horrible sight. Dr. Miller performed a skin graft and now it is a beautiful sight to behold. It is truly amazing how good this area looks now after 4 ½ months. I will always be grateful for Dr. Miller’s fine surgical skills and am very pleased with the result. I will now be able to have a total knee replacement on my right knee which had to be postponed until the skin graft was healed.

I had an eyelift done by Dr. Miller. I’m thrilled with the results. My eyes look great. Dr. Miller is a wonderful surgeon. He knew exactly how much skin and fat to remove, not too much, not too little. Dr. Miller allowed me to do the procedure under local anesthetic and it was a breeze. I kept ice packs on my eyes for 2 days and even took a pain pill. The nurse was very helpful and kind. I will return to Dr. Miller for other procedures based on this experience.

I think I’m pretty tough when it comes to things medical. A functioning, strong body is a gift from God, and we are asked to provide healthy food, healthy thoughts, and healthy habits.

Occasionally there may be medical problems, but I don’t consider the loss of breasts as a significant one: unnecessary parts, easier to lose than arms or legs or a nose or anything else. Especially for a woman of fifty-nine years.

For two years I’d thought I didn’t mind being a little different. Special bras and pads made street clothes look right, but at home I often didn’t wear them. (There was a bulky robe that I could toss over my pajamas if the doorbell rang).

That is why I was so surprised at the joy I felt after Dr. Miller so skillfully made my concave mastectomy chest look properly rounded again. It was almost embarrassing to admit. Does this sound like a vain and frivolous woman? Life is easier, and even happier.

I did not know that this type of repair would bring such blessed joy to an already blessed life. I am truly grateful.
